One-Quarter Year Gone

I had to stop this morning and ask myself where has the time gone.  Already, a quarter of the year is gone which is either good or bad.  I can look at the time past since my last post in two ways:  I was so busy with life that time sped faster than I realized or I was so busy stitching that the time went by before I noticed it.  Both answers equally apply.

When last I posted, it was winter cold, but now it is Summer-like warm at 80 degree days.  Spring, it seems, has passed us by and Summer is upon us.  During the past three months, I finished the Sulky Teacher Certification course; attended a wonderful Gold Work class with master Gold Thread artist, Alison Cole from Australia; continue working on the  Master Craft courses with the EGAUSA and am stitching in a smocking class.

Since January, I had had the joy of celebrating two family birthdays, a wedding anniversary and several other memorable life events.  As Summer heats up, I will retreat inside to my studio  and stitch my fingers off.

Happy Times to all!
